The park is structured in 5 macro areas, each characterized by a natural element.
- Water
This section features the Great Dolphins’ Lagoon, a very large pool with stands capable of welcoming as many as 2500 people; Pianeta Mare, an aquarium-gallery dedicated to creatures of the Mediterranean and tropical seas, and Hippocampus, the pool with bizarre and lovely seahorses
- Air
This section is dedicated to the inhabitants of the sky: here you will find falconry performances, and you can visit the Owl’s Mill which welcomes diurnal and nocturnal birds of prey, such as eagle owls, snow owls, barn owls, sea eagles, buzzards, vultures, peregrine falcons and many more.
A specific area will allow you to admire many colorful parrots from the tropical and subtropical areas of the world, such as Latin America, India, South-eastern Asia, Africa and Oceania.
- Earth
In the Earth section you will find the “Darwin” itinerary, an exhibition on the geological era of the Cretaceous period, which went from circa 150 to 65 million years ago.
In this section you can also visit the fabulous Animal farm, one of the kids’ favorite attractions, a faithful reproduction of a peasant environment from the delta of the Po. And don’t miss the Butterfly garden, a new installation for 2015: an area where you can walk literally surrounded by our butterflies… some may even delicately land on your hands, if attracted by colors and perfumes.
- Fire
In the Earth section you will find the “Darwin” itinerary, an exhibition on the geological era of the Cretaceous period, which went from circa 150 to 65 million years ago.
- Energy
Here you will find Adventure Island, the Island of Ulysses, i.e. 4.000 sq. m. Of suspended bridges, acrobatic itineraries, ladders, poles and ropes, a stream to be navigated, sand islands, water cannons and much more. It is a huge playground, where kids can have fun with their parents.
And, for a spectacular ending to your visit, try Imax, the park’s cinema with more than 500 seats: the most spectacular 3D films will keep you glued to your seat!
